When Izzy tells him he’s got work to do, he drags his feet. Until he finds out who’s on the tiny ship Izzy wouldn't let him leave alone. He’s really going to have to play his cards right as nothing goes as planned for their utterly unromantic reunion.
For clarity, this fic takes place around 3-4 months after Unmasked! ends. the prior work is complete but this work references that one heavily and leans on its premise.

Ugh my opinion is not solidified yet but the thing that pisses me off most about the Cassie design is that it deadass looks like one of my earlier Cassie designs. There's not much about it and it's mainly there to solve problems and not to be an actual redesign. And it does look like something a 13/14 year old would draw so I'm not impressed
