Can I get uhhhhhh dork squad + harley with a marine biologist S/O? Someone who's like 'hey babe wanna see something fucked up?' and shows them a newly-discovered species of deepsea life, maybe they moved to Gotham to study what the hell could live in waters that MUST be polluted with god-knows-what? (thank you for doing this stuff, I love your blog!)
The fear of the sea is a phobia that absolutely fascinates him. The possibilities of the horrors lurking under the endless waves! The foreign, undiscovered creatures buried within the darkest depths of the ocean floor. (Hydrophobia, thassolophobia, submechanophobia...) Needless to say, this man enjoys your work immensely. Itās a huge inspiration towards his ownĀ āresearch.ā
Heāll never admit it, but Eddie has a huge fear of sharks. It originated when he saw Jaws way too young, and has stuck around ever since. So, heās not a big fan of the ocean, or swimming in-general. (Mostly because he doesnāt know how to swim.) Heād prefer to not hear about your research if he can help it, but if you persist, heāll be squirming the entire time you talk about whatever new horrors youāve discovered.
He knows of many things that lurk in Gothamās waters! Such as the little crocodile, always grinning, always swimming, always looking for new little fish to welcome into his waiting jaws. (Oh, and the pollution is a big issue, too.) He doesnāt feel this way or that about the sea, though the strange creatures youāve shown him always prompt a āCurioser and curioserā-esque response.
Whoa, creepy! She always had a feeling there was some freaky shit going on beneath the surface of Gothamās waters and sheās glad to know that her gut instinct was right. Even if itās not quite the same as whatever the hellās going on at the bottom of the ocean. Hey, maybe you could talk to Croc about it! Heās sure to know a thing or two about living in the water! (You appreciate the suggestion, but uh...maybe thatās not the best idea.)
