I was interdicted by Thargoids not once, but twice??? And by five ships in total??? Really, should I feel honored or scared? 😂

Today, I chose to take Skirmisher Vanguard to get some engineering work. I traveled to Deciat. Upon arrive, I noticed the mega ships around and chose to explore. I saw them scorched with corrosive marks. I scanned and found I could do some missions. I took to the nearest starport to gather the limpets I needed and returned. Everything was going smooth... then the anomaly began... until a couple minutes ago, I had never seen a thargoid in game. Much less fought one. 4 thargoid scouts jumped in and began attacking. I wasn't expecting a xeno-threat so I only had my regular weapons. But during the first wave, I killed all four of them. The emgaship reported clear and I thought that was the end. Not a minute later and the same readings come, but this time, as I fought the scouts, I heard something strange. Just as I destroyed the last scout, a shutdown field hit the entire area... an interceptor had arrived. Upon regaining power, I ran. I ran as fast as I could, but I wasn't fast enough. The interceptor and its swarm caught up to me... and my ship was lost... I can't believe I did it, though. I've defeated thargoids!
