#thanksdrinking

I feel like this should be an ongoing series on my blog because Jody is boss as all get out. Also, it occurred to me that she knows about my Tumblr fame after she confronted me with, "I saw what you said about me on Tumblr." Apparently she has a friend who is a fan (her friend has good taste). And Jody is fucking awesome and really cool to talk to and does a good job when I go in to Floyd's to get my hair did.

This go around we talked about movies and the splendor that is Thanksdrinking. I had no idea that Thanksdrinking was a holiday. But it is. My faith in humanity and the extravagant amount of holidays in America has been restored. In terms of movies we talked about The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Wreck-It Ralph, and how I am going to be able to see Anna Karenina without disappointing both my mother and Abs. I'll give you a clue: it will require a scheme not unlike the one Michael Caine concocts in the original Italian Job. No bloody doors will be blown off.

And the house is empty...turns out my fam's pregaming for Thanksgiving weekend and gambling their asses off getting drunk at some casino.
