my following of contractstuck has been pretty spotty, and i just caught up on a LOT a lot of it today but!!! gosh? you can see so much improvement, and the videoflash was absolutely beautiful!!! it's so great!! you're so great!!!
THANKS!! Secretly, contractstuck has been an adventure in practicing art as well as a fun fic2`1. I have a hard time staying motivated with art unless I know I need to update something and I have an artistic vision. And narrative art really makes you have to practice some stuff you wouldn’t think to practice, like certain angles and backgrounds and movements! Like, I had to draw cars and guns and stuff with this last update...........do you know how much I hate drawing cars???? It was AWFUL but I did it cuz storytelling.
I’m sometimes a little concerned that people will start reading 8inding Contracts and think like “this art isn’t that good and i’m not interested,” but I still kinda like it because you can look at the first several chapters and the last several chapters and really see the progress!

hmmmmm...... i tend to imitate whoever’s work i read last, honestly. like, if i’ve been reading war and peace, then i tend to try to be all showy and fancy and shit despite not knowing what half the words mean

oh, definitely. i have a ton of playlists, each for one specific fic

yupp. i’ve got several fanmixes for different ships whenever i’m writing for them, so there’s that
