I did little modifications to her clothing and finally decided on her name, she is Thalian

Heyo this is v v short and quickly written bc I had an idea I wanted to jot down. Anyway, this deals w mental illness so ahdjs enjoy

There were many times when Thalia would be doing poorly and force herself to use magic because of the simple fact she couldn't allow herself to open up and let Asra know something was wrong, despite him always being able to tell. She would strain herself and Asra would inevitably stop her as soon as he noticed, before damage could be done, which was usually pretty fast. He would let her know that it's alright to take breaks if she doesn't feel up to it, that these things take energy.

These were bad days.

Knowing Julian didnt erase these bad days, and it didn't exactly help that he had those days too, where he didn't have the energy to be a person, to make conversation, to take care of himself. On these days Thalia would lie more. "I'm having a good day, darling. Please don't worry about me" and "my love, please worry about yourself, I'm alright I promise" and "nothing is wrong, dear it's alrught." She spent her energy on taking care of him.

Of course, Julian couldn't stand for this any more than Thalia could stand for him doing the same for her, and naturally, he would use up his energy on making her feel better. These days usually ended with Julian wrapping his arms around Thalias waist, burying his face in the crook of her neck and apologizing for not being able to help.

Thalia would turn around and hold his face in her hands, saying there's nothing he could have done, these things happen, it's not your fault. She'd apologize for her lack of energy as well, and he would tell her there's nothing to apologize for. These nights ended in hours spent in bed, just holding each other close, because neither had the energy to go their separate ways, or change clothes, or shower, even.
