Vidya Balan Is Now Part Of Tamil Version Of Pink With Thala Ajith In The Lead
Yes, Vidya will be seen in a South Indian movie once again after NTR Rama Rao. Tumhari Sulu actress has chosen Tamil remake of Pink in order to debut in Tamil movie industry. In this movie, Thala Ajith will be seen in the lead. Shooting for the movie has started already from 14th December. Tentative title of the movie for the movie now is ‘Thala 59’. H Vinoth will be directing the movie. According to the Tamil audience, some changes have been made in the movie.
For the role of Taapsee Pannu from original, Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim has been chosen. It is believed that Kalyani Priyadarshan is an important part of the remake version of Pink also. In the year 2017, Pink has released and praised by the audience as well as critics very much. Lots of awards have been won by this movie also.
Prior to this movie, Vidya Balan has got several offers of Tamil movies. However, Kahaani actress has decided to select Pink remake for her first in Tamil. Regarding character of Vidya Balan, producer Boney Kapoor has said “I wouldn't call it a special appearance. There are certain changes that the director [H Vinoth] that has incorporated to suit the Tamil market, and Vidya's character has been accordingly written.”
South Indian movie superstar Ajith has once told Srivedi that he likes the movie Pink to be made in Tamil. On the other hand, Sridevi has wanted to produce a Tamil project with Ajith in the lead also. About this Boney Kapoor has said, “Ajith suggested remaking Pink in Tamil to her [Sridevi], and she immediately agreed”
