"Gift giving holiday?" Querl blinked, took the packages, and holding them for a good minute or so in sheer puzzlement. Not quite knowing what was in occurrence whatsoever. "I... er... wasn't aware that this was any sort of holiday... Or holiday practice..." 

At this, his gaze dropped to the ground, and he frowned quite noticeably. Cheeks puffing a bit in what might have been either embarrassment or frustration. Both would have been applicable. Nobody had told him this was a sort of gift exchanging holiday. It had been very strange to have Brainiac and Sticky-Thad give him material objects with no reasoning behind it. Was that the point of this 'Christmas' he had been hearing about? A practice dead in his time that would still be practiced in this era, perhaps? 

Oh, did he feel stupid. And here Thad was giving him things, when Querl himself didn't have anything to give back. 

"You... You really didn't have to..." He mumbled, looking back up at Thad with a terribly sheepish look. "Er... I suppose I'll withhold any questions regarding an inefficient containment unit until I know what it is though." With that, he set down the heavier package, and began carefully removing the tape from the softer bundle. Making sure not to cause any rips or tears in the newspaper, for fear such a thing might be considered taboo. 

"Oh!" He exclaimed, at the oversized sweater he had lifted out of the newspaper. Eyes wide, as he glanced over all of the intricately woven details. The main image seemed to be several deer like creatures (one with a brilliantly red nose) pulling a sleigh with a large, red-clad man inside of it. Was this traditional wear for this holiday? It must be. He had never seen anything quite so strange on a sweater before. Without a pause after that, Querl immediately put it on over his usual jumpsuit. Rolling up the sleeves to allow himself use of his hands. "It's..." He thought for a word to describe it, watching Thad's face rather carefully. "It's... Really something. Thank you, Thaddeus." With a grin for emphasis, Querl folded up the newspaper, and lay it next to the other parcel. Which he stared at for a moment, before abruptly turning to Thad again. 

"Er... Wait here. I'll be right back." 

And with that, Querl backed up and out of Thad's sight. Darting away with the intentions of finding some reasonable gift item to return the favor.
