If I control Rules Lawyer and March of the Machines, can I have equipment that are creatures attached to other creatures? Or is there a rule of attaching cards that's not a state-based effect that prevents that?
No, equipment thatâs also a creature canât become attached to another creature.Â
Rules Lawyer will let the equipment thatâs currently equipped remain attached when March of the Machines enters the battlefield, but after that point no further attaching in possible.

Youâll draw a card and then draw a card. Alms Collector doesnât notice.
When you splice a card onto an Arcane Instant or Sorcery, you add that card's text to the text of the spell youâre splicing it onto. Reach Through Mists with Evermind spliced onto it doesnât say âDraw two cardsâ, it says âDraw a card. Draw a card.â Itâs two separate sequential instructions and since neither action is drawing multiple cards, Alms Collectorâs replacement effect isnât applicable here.

Can I request more cards with mechanics from old Commander products? More cards with experience counters or myriad or tempting offer or stuff like that? Most of those mechanics just don't work very well in non-Commander products but I'd like to see more of them if there's any design space left.

If I play Hixus and then block with it, and my opponent redirects its combat damage back to me (say, with Harm's Way or Shining Shoal), what happens?
Hixus and all other creatures that dealt combat damage to you this turn will be exiled momentarily then return to the battlefield.
If I sacrifice my Dripping-Tongue Zubera equipped with Nim Deathmantle, will it count itself as a Zubera that died that turn, or will Nim Deathmantle's effect make it not count as a Zubera?
Nim Deathmantle completely overwrites the creatureâs types, so it wasnât a Zubera when it died.
