Penny's eclectic appearance had always been the least of her eccentricities, to which her many various childhood homes had doubtlessly contributed. She'd recently revisited part of this little-known past - an uncle Mohet with whom she'd lived as a kid wanted her to visit her old home in India. The Big Issue had been more than happy to grant a month's leave for travel writing on her dime, but now, returned, she once more faced the unpleasant ogre of jet lag.
