“Hey babe” Kage said coming back from the bathroom. I was basically shitting bricks sitting there. “Hey!” i said trying to play it off knowing damn well it was very obvious.

We were finally on the road heading to the studio every time we got closer my heart started beating faster and faster.

we finally arrived to the studio as i was about to get out the car i was shaking making kage notice. “Hey dont worry, ive heard you sing you’re amazing. I promise everyone here has messed up including me.” he said as he reached over to hold my hand “but what happens if i cant do it right and have to start over multiple times?” i looked down biting my lip as my shaking slowly eased away.

We walked inside after kage had calmed me down i was feeling more confident than i was earlier, i sat down after greeting everyone as kage went in to start his verse. i listened as i nodded my head along with him. I was after him… it was finally my time to go in, as i walked in kage was still in there so he could basically be my emotional support. he put the headphones on my head and i placed my lyric sheet infront of me. the beat started playing just so i could run through my lyrics real quick. i had a slower part of the beat other than the rest of the boys on the song.

it was finally time for me to do my first shot at it, i started shaking again but this time with adrenaline and not fear. kage came behind me and rubbed my arms. “You got this!” he said as he placed a kiss on my cheek and smiled at me.

I started my first part singing the melody into the mic as i closed my eyes so i couldn’t see anyone staring at me making my nerves a little worse. i thought i did amazing on the first part now it was time to do the second part i was feeling way more confident now and getting into the song as i swayed my hips to the beat knowing i was eating this shit up. i finally finished after hitting my last note. i opened my eyes to see everyone clapping and cheering all i could do was smile and look down at me feet.

“SEE! I told you, you would so awesome!” kage said as he came over to me hugging me almost picking me up off the ground.

“Thank you” i said quietly but also happy. i was just happy it was over with.
