Looking into the mirror he hated what he saw. He looked like a little boy with a clean shaved face and his brown hair slicked back along with that navy suit, in shorter description he looked like a piece of shit. It was yet another end of an evening of lying, smiling and pretending he was happy. From a major argument with his father to going out smiling as if nothing happened, listening to his father tell people how proud he was of him when indeed just an hour before he called him a failure. The issue was not that he was wrong or right, because Adrian might as well be a failure, traitor even, he truly is to these people declining to take over the hotels and the business, but how much of a lie he was living in. It was a constant reminder everyday that truth nor being happy did not matter, but status does. Little did he know that everything was going to change.
You would think Adrian Calder was a lot younger than he was. That grumpy naked face with his attitude it was hard to make him out to be in his late twenties. Adrian knew exactly where , but as he was about to leave his father started another argument with him, this time in front of guests. It left Adrian walking off with a clenched fist trying to hold the anger he already held for so many years inside. Lucky for him he had his savior. A woman who listened to him, who knew that a relationship was not what he wanted, but needed to desperately be taken care of. She calmed him and reminded him to take his feet back on the ground.

His mother is a friendly woman with “posh”, she lost a lot of confidence when her husband died. His father was more strict and what Adrian would describe cold. He cared for his kids, but had a hard time not showing it. Especially with Adrian who always tested him as a child and teen.
