Okay so like, i'm sick rn and my skin is really hot n sensitive so imagine the yandere MTMTE crew realizing this and one of them has you in their room and gently brushing their servos over your skin to here you whimper cos it feels nice since your body is overheating and they just keep you there. and like then always give you a little medicine but enough to keep you there cos they never want you to leave... you're theirs and they need to protect you when you're weak... You’re practically not allowed to lift a finger as they constantly fuss over you. They’ll keep you at a constant temperature and bring you anything you might need from ginger ale, to books, to a fresh pair of pj’s. They’re constantly at your beck and call. You want them to run you a cool bath? No problem! You’re muscles feeling sore? They’ll gladly give you a massage. You just want to lie down and take a nap? Come curl up on their chest plate!
You have to admit all the attention is pretty nice, but you can’t but notice that they don’t want to seem to let you out of the medbay. “What’s that? You feel much better? still thinking about what you had in mind for black box. its just. MAN. i wont go into personal detail here, but. i understand how daunting a task the idea of writing out all that recovery was, but i still immensely appreciate the first part being as long as it is! ive been struggling w coping and recover and everything else for Years, both mentally and physically, and you showing that its not a snap of your fingers and youre fixed overnight just. it helped. and the idea that techno heals, even if a bit off (much like his fingers, he'll never be back to being the same) and that he's given Time. he's given love and time and he finds himself again even in change, it just. its something i love about blackbox a lot. its something i love about your writing. its something i love about your portrayals of trauma in general. people get hurt and they stay hurt but they can live and learn to live with the hurt and. man. man. sorry there are so many words i could say and none of them make sense (<- scurrently fairly sick) but. i appreciate you and i appreciate the story you said through blackbox. said, because even if its not "finished", it definitely is finished in a way that matters most - tg
in the spirit of me sucking up and answering asks about me, i just wanted to say that i saw this, and i really appreciate that you appreciate my fic, and appreciate the fact that i needed it to be a long recovery arc. i'm genuinely kind of blown away people seem to actually like my unfinished notes as much as the few people who have read them have, and i'm glad for this ask.

Hi there TG anon!! ♥ It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? I hope you’re doing okay and still looking to get back into TG. I’m genuinely sorry that I’m only getting around to doing this now, but hopefully, my late, late, late response will still be of help to you!
I think I should preface everything that I’m about to write with the following: I’m in no way a TG expert. I didn’t read the manga and I never got around to watching the second season. In a way, I too partially fell out of love with it after watching the first season and never got back into it. I can tell you right now though, that :re has been amazing so far and I’m more in love with TG now that I was when I first started watching. Also, I had to turn to my younger brother’s expertise to confirm some of the things I wrote here. He’s the one that got me into TG and the true die-hard fan.
