Tequila Sunrises ጠTyphire
Save the date. Save the date. ---Sapphire had thought of more than one thing sheâd like to do with that date and âsaveâ it hadnât made the cut. But, of course, what did daddy dearest care about that? Hadnât he made the conscious decision to send them to his daughters at his wifeâs home (ex-wife). Or maybe that little detail had been the mistressâ doing. ... Or maybe her daddy just wasnât the person sheâd been making him out to be, clinging onto, hoping he still was. Sapphire was so tired of defending him.
That made it so much worse because that meant that all this time he had been making a fool out of her. All the times sheâd pushed and pushed to remind her dad that she was still there, his family were still there and for what? Saving the date. Needless to say she hadnât taken the news well and her little sober pledge at Sophiaâs party had not held up. Essentially, and she hated to admit it especially to herself, it was her damned dad who was to blame for the night she had just had. Admittedly she couldnât remember much except from it had been very bad and she had smiled way too much. Oh and it was loud.
Now what Sapphire really had not planned on was stumbling through the gate of the Van Buren household. Nor had she planned on finding (after a few ill attempts and a newly chipped garden gnome) that spare key Tyler had told her about in her room. Tyler, Tyler, Tyler... A too-loud giggle suddenly erupted out of her as she stabbed at the key hold for the fifth time. It was way past the hour of morning come down but if she remembered correctly around all the tequila shots and faceless people, he had said something about breakfast. With that she managed to turn the key properly and stumbled gracefully through it, even managing to close it behind her quietly. Sort of. Tip-toeing was a little hard to do in her high heels but she did her best and it was totally going well... Until she tripped on the rug and went tumbling onto the sofa.
âSh,â she giggled to herself, a mess of blonde hair and glitter, legs and high heels the only things visible to whoever might come down to witness this particular mess. She managed to suppress her giggling just in time to hear that someone come down and tried unsuccessfully to sit upright. âHey boyfriend, Iâm like, 99% sure you said something about breakfast. Or schnapps. Maybe both? Either way... Morning,â she tried to whisper, vaguely hoping that she hadnât just sort of hit on Mr Van Buren.
