Wow.  That was fast.  Truth be told, though, Carter's easy.  Look how long he lasted sticking to his guns against his parents; if Kathryn did the dumping, Carter probably did the pining and yearning for re-acceptance.

I didn't see it, but I can make a quick opine since I know about it now.

It was tense for a simple reason: they're both intense.  If Charlotte sat still for long enough to talk to him, she wasn't that engaged in it.  She also wasn't that offended because, otherwise, everyone would've heard exactly what she thought.

Since all three of them will be in the land of ‘don’t ask and we won’t tell,’ I’d call it a tie but I don’t think either of those lovely ladies like to share — even after the fact.  Sloppy seconds are so last generation, after all.

In the case of younger Andrews, though, the other thing we have to look at is cost versus benefit.  He is interested in himself above all — and to tell you the truth (because I’m good like that all the time anyway)— there is no benefit for him in picking up his brother’s sloppy seconds.  

Is that Charlotte Montgomery and Christopher Vanderbilt?  That’s… cozy.

Spotted: A high horse losing a leg to stand on. We all suspected it would be ten seconds before Miss Goody Two Shoes bored the Prodigal Partier.  Who ever would've guess she'd be the heartbreaker in this scenario?  Certainly not the people who've heard rumors about her standards and goals for years past.

You know what they say, Carter -- nothing good happens at a dimly-lit bar in Chinatown.  Or maybe that's after 2 AM.  In this case, it looks like both.
