Night of new beginnings || Caroline & Klaus
Caroline stood at the bar with a drink in her hands slipping it slowly as her eyes swept across the visible range in hopes of finding some known faces without any luck. The sudden sense of loneliness did unsettle her. Elena and Bonnie had seemed closed and off limits lately. Maybe it was time she had some other friends too! She had urged Stiles to go look for Lydia and ask her to a dance since she knew of the kid’s humongous crush on the said girl. She smiled fondly at the memory of him stammering and blushing while she told him to do it.
She knew she was drunk from the amount of drinks she had downed since gracing Pandemonium. But that never bothered her! She might get a bit of a loose tongued with the alcohol but she could still manage herself. She could have left home before but something stopped her from doing so. It could be the mini dare she played with Klaus and in all honesty she was of the idea that he would have found her long before. However he hadn’t! Letting out a sigh, Caroline gulped the drink in one go thinking it was high time she left the place that no longer looked friendly. She stood up turning around only to freeze on the spot her blue green eyes locking with the soft blue ones of the most infuriating man she had ever met in her life, who stood before her with a smirk!
