No Rest FROM the Wicked | Klaus & Bonnie
Kol had finally released her from his clutches, and Bonnie did not know what to do. He had disappeared from Rebekah's chamber, and she knew that she had a mission now that she could not refuse. She had crumbled to the ground for a moment, sobbing. All she had ever wanted was adventure. Life. Freedom. Something more than she had ever experienced or ever could.
And now she was caught in the Red Keep, surrounded by secrets and lies. Rebekah was gone, and in her place, Mikael had come. There was nothing and no one that could truly keep her safe, now. She was a no one, and her Magic was not strong enough to keep her safe or whisk her away. She only had one choice left, and that was to go to Elijah Mikaelson.
Of all Rebekah's brothers, he was the most honorable. A good man, Rebekah would say. A man that was true to his word. If she went to him, told him what she had Kol, and begged for his protection, perhaps... perhaps she would be safe. Perhaps he would send her back to Highgarden. Perhaps she wouldn't be dancing this thin line she was on.
Her mind made up, Bonnie washed the tears from her face, and left Rebekah's room. If anyone stopped her... Kol... or worse Mikael... it would all be for naught. She could only find protection in Elijah. Her feed carried her quickly, but after a few steps, she was running. She was scared. Scared for her life. Scared of worse. She was lucky enough as it was that Kol hadn't killed her for the words she had spoken.
She glanced over her shoulder, scared that she would see Kol behind her, returning to Rebekah's room to collect his new little toy. Only two doors away from Elijah's. And instead, she hit another warm body and fell to the floor. She looked up, startled, and saw someone she hadn't realized she feared worse than Kol and Mikael...
She remained on the ground, her head returning to being bowed, and she tried to calm her racing heart. "My Lord, please, forgive me."
