Yes actually, that was what I went to college for! I majored in 2D animation (and minored in sequential art, aka making comics).

I love writing and seq art, but animation is my passion and I truly believe it is my purpose in life. I've never felt more fulfilled and driven than when I’m making the little drawings move!

I haven't been able to animate anything in a few years due to limited funds and work schedules, but I'm trying to get to a place where I can chase after my one true passion again.

I plan to make my own animated series for The Future and a Robot, which I've talked about before. I animated a short film in college a few years ago to get a feel for it... it was hectic and took a lot of different artists to help accomplish it, and in the end we finished by the skin of our teeth!

I don't show off the short very often, mostly because there are parts I wish I could have improved — but here's a lil clip of one my fav part!

1- How long have Lloyd and Julia known each other before getting protaled to the 90's?

2- What kind of games does Julia like?

3- Is Harris an only child? (if this is gonna spoil something that you already have planned and don’t want to share yet I'm sorry you don't have to answer it)

4- Imogen is artistic right, what is her favorite way to create? Like painting, drawing, sculpting? Also what kind of things inspire her?

5- Are Ms. Emelyn and Dr. Alger working in secret or are they kind of out in the open with their goals?

6- Does Aiva enjoy having a humanoid form?

7- Is the taking place in the early, mid, or late 90's?

8- Do you have ages for the characters?

I have a Spotify playlist of songs for The Future and a Robot that remind me of characters, inspired moments for the show, or are specific songs I’d like to include in episodes one day if possible.

But as for specific songs…

I used the song Never Gonna Give You Up in an animated short of TFaaR, so that’s a no-brainer. I might choose All Star by Smash Mouth just because it’s so iconic and Julia is a meme-lover at heart.

There’s a song that I wanna use as a sort of introduction into Ms. Emelyn’s character, but it’s an 80’s song. It’s One Way or Another by Blondie, the lyrics really capture her drive.
