Tfa Optimus but his whole team has a work crush on him and he hates it.
Ratchet: Optimus makes him feel young and he respects how the Prime holds himself to his morals and they both have long fun conversations about making fun of autobot prudes like sentinel. But Optimus does not see Ratchet as a long term romantic partner.
Bulkhead: very sweet and affectionate maybe a little too affectionate. Optimus isnβt big on cuddling and ends up in long awkward hugs with bulk. But he does enjoy the meals bulk makes and his genuine and gentle personality is refreshing to Optimus. He can have deep emotional conversations with bulkhead. Maybe if Optimus was more of a physical touch guy he would consider it.
Prowl: the opposite of bulkhead to were heβs respectful of Optimusβs personal space and they can have a comfortable silence together and enjoy each others company. They also have the most intensive training together as well. But they are both emotionally constipated around eachother.
Bee: β¦Optimus is painfully reminded of Sentinels academy days when Bee tries to flirt with him. Heβs needy and attention seeking along with egotistical behavior gives Optimus horrific flashbacks to Optimus own academy days. But when he does reject Bumblebee (sometimes a little harshly) he does come back better from it instead of doubling down. Optimus does hold out hope that Bee wonβt be like sentinel maybe he might give the young cadet a chance in the future but definitely not now.
