Also, hi Tumblr, I've been away from the internets all day. I'm assuming if I've missed anything truly vital, someone will tell me?
Spaaaaa. Spaaaaaaaaa. If you'd told me a few years ago that I would gleefully spend time in a 180 degree room, I would have LAUGHED at you. But it's so worth it for the lack of muscle aches!
So yeah, anything happen I need to know about?

Antique ski goggles that I got at a huge discount because the strap had snapped. I restrung them on elastic and added pink velvet bows at the temples.
rivervox said: Where did you get the wonderful coat? And how would you describe it if searching for one? Full-skirted?
I found the coat at a thrift store ages ago (probably over a decade ago). Searching "full skirted" or "princess seamed" should turn up something similar. I know that Fan+Friend makes winter coats with full skirts.
Thank you for the nice compliments, peeps!
(Actually, what I'm REALLY doing right now is reading information about a tech job, because I have a phone interview tomorrow afternoon. After I finish doing that, I'll start working on the Gothic Charm School post.)
(Aaaaand then start brainstorming for my assignment for Yuletide, which is due in OH MY G-D FIFTEEN DAYS. THREAT LEVEL BEARS, WE HAVE REACHED YULETIDE THREAT LEVEL BEARS.)
Soup!
idreamofcorsets reblogged this from gothiccharmschool and added: tell him to put in in the microwave.
Well, first there would needed to have been soup made. I haven't found a canned chicken soup I like.

Ha! The RealHusband does not cook much, but has many other wonderful qualities. But yeah, if both of us are feeling ill? We rely on frozen food. Sad, but true.
As it was, I managed to remain upright long enough to get the soup going, and he took it from there. Under the Read More, Auntie Jilli's quick chicken soup for sickly people!

Whining.
I hate being sick.
Ugh. Day two of death blarg, day two of probably not moving from the couch much. The RealHusband is feeling better, thank goodness.
Send tea, soup, and laudanum.
Oh ugh. There go any plans I had for the day, because I'm fighting off the wretched cold that's been going around. Alas, so is the RealHusband, so we are the House of Plague. I'm going to spend the day in my skeleton pjs, drinking tea and reading silly gothic romances. And sleeping.
(Why is there no delivery service that will bring me really good chicken soup? Why?)
