Detail: "Moon Base Alpha" 18x21" made with commercial grade acrylic patching compound, modeling paste, acrylic and metallic enamels on Plexiglass. I built layers with the pastes and sanded them down between applications. The top layers were dry brushed and hand painted into the crevices, lastly I used Isopropyl to wear down some layers in spots.
