So here we go with my silent auction raising money for @oxfamgb and @gurkhawelfaretrust - the 100km non-stop trek is now 2 weeks away today. The heat has made my metal ankle swollen, my quads are tight and I have a back bag wound 👍🏻 Feeling on it though! . . . Her intricate stitch constructions marvel and boggle, they’re truly a case in point for #slowstitch. Fran has kindly donated this cross stitch piece from her Camoflague series that fits wonderfully thematically within the charities I’m fundraising for, as well as within the group of textile artists and makers I’m highlighting through this #silentauction.
