The only thing Scarlett knows about her childhood is that she happened to be a daughter of a very high nobleman who happened to be emperor's confidant and a whore. However soon enough she learned that her mysterious savior's true name was Walter Monfort-Montellier more commonly known as the Joker. Bored with everything life and wealth had to offer, he found entertainment in political intrigues. Unlike most men he didn't strive for wealth or power, driven by endless need of entertainment he was a player simply for the sake of the game. He raised Scarlett as his protège. At first, his plan was to use her as a personal spy is his games, however the older she became the more attached he grew. By the time she came of age, their relationship turned into a romantic one and she became his mistress and faithful accomplice in his dangerous games.
