People who are following the Seungri scandal? 

Like what’s your opinion right now, with all the evidence? (Or lack thereof)

Because I’m seeing a lot of people stating ‘It proves it in XXX source’ and when you see the source its a Koreaboo, or a Kpop News or an allkpop articles which misquotes or misdirects information. (And in the rare case, a CNN article that has NO sources and seems to be almost as uninformed as a toddler) And yes, I am going to linked to allkpop (and other more reliable sources) due to the fact that most of my information has come directly from live police statements not news articles or online videos, and so they are difficult to source. 

I am genuinely looking for sourced information on whether or not the Seungri  allegations has ANY grounds. 

Literally the only thing that hasn’t been dropped right now is the allegation of overseas gambling, and the prostitution. The former is not exactly news worthy enough, and the latter is only due to the still on going investigation. 

And before you come at me with ‘The group chats’ The group chats that the media are using, and the ones that the police have ARE NOT THE SAME. This is because the leaked GC was leaked to the anti-corruption unit NOT the media, and the police CANNOT release evidence to the media, only imply what the content is. 

So the screenshots and translations you are reading are “mock ups” which are commonly used in media. The Police have not said the ones the media are using are the genuine ones. so please don’t use them as evidence. (If they later state that what the media have reported is accurate I shall redact this, until such point, my point still stands). 

What the police have said is that the group chats leaked to them are genuine. However they have not stated whom is in which chat.. These are two separate incidents which many media platforms have attempted to merge into one.

Source 2 clearly states that the allegations that Seungri was involved in the video sharing chat were made by local media and not the investigating police. Police have yet to make a comment or statement about this. 

Jung Joon Young has admitted to the charges against him about the videos shared in the group chat. Police are now in the process of seeking an arrest warrant. No statement about seeking an arrest warrant for Seungri have been made.

Police have interviewed two women whom they believe were named in the group chat as being prostitutes, however both have denied these claims stating that they were there to drink, have been hired as mulge (attractive women who attract more guests into establishments) and drank with a female foreign investor of Seungri’s.

Right now the only thing that may be incriminating is a unreleased testimony that is of significance to the investigation. However police have not said whether it proves or disproves allegations.

FINALLY

The case in which has brought to light all of this is the Allegation by Mr Kim that a female in Burning Sun was drugged and harassed by a VIP and when he attempted to help her he was assaulted by security. The woman whom is the alleged victim has made a statement about this. She claims that what Mr Kim says is a lie and that he has ‘fooled the world’. She claims it was Mr Kim whom was harassing her, not the VIP. She stated that he tapped her waist and looked at her from behind, when she attempted to move away, he grabbed her waist. The club organisers then ‘took him away’ after causing the scene. 

This is relatively new information and needs to be verified by police

“Foster care is a job, when you leave that job, do you call the job to say 'hi' ? No you move on to the next job.” That Is what my foster mothers son told me, many times. Correctly the job of being a foster parent pays $130- $400 per day.(source: https://www.michigan.gov/mdhhs/0,5885,7-339-73971_7117_7658-14898--,00.html )

In researching and soul searching for this blog I found a lot of altruistic views on being a foster parent.

I find it inspiring and heart- warming, So please don't take this as an attack on you, that’s great and we need more of you. That just wasn't my experience.

In my foster home between 2006-2009, it seemed like I was a great burden. My meals always consisted of strawberry pop tarts( bough in bulk) or generic Fruit Loops, which i still can’t stand, with milk for breakfast and one banquet TV dinner(purchased in a 10 for 10 deal) in the evening. All food was kept under lock and key to avoid “stealing”. During to school year I received free lunch, which I was very thankful for. My lowest weight was 98 pounds(I'm 4 ft. 11in. & female).

Along with my public education and free lunch, I had medical insurance and a yearly clothing allowance that was covered through the state. Although my clothing was strictly controlled by my foster family. They only allowed me to purchase clothing two sizes too big because as they said, “I wasn't a skinny little kid any more & I had buy clothes to fit my body type”. I found that confusing because I was usually told I was too thin and I might to be “sent away” for it.

I was allowed to make short local phone calls and only allowed to receive long distant call from my family, which i looked forward to every week. I did get a $40 monthly allowance from  the state. Unfortunately my foster son and daughter-in-law were drug addicts, so  I had to be creative in hiding that money with mixed success.

First off, I don’t plan on giving you my life story, just the important parts. I won’t bore you with my life because frankly, I’ve already experienced it and rather not have to remember it again.

In High School, I was a pimply faced young man, socially awkward and suffering from depression. The one joy I had aside from drawing was my time in Choir class. I loved to sing and was a pretty decent tenor.

One day, the Choir teacher announced that they were looking for volunteers for a Christmas event called the Singing Christmas Tree. It was a yearly event in my home state of Oregon and was even televised for the holidays. At the time, I hadn’t thought about that part but thought it would be fun so I volunteered.

It was there that I met a group of young men who alarmed me. They were happy, energetic young men who welcomed me in with open arms and became my friend. I had very few friends in school and to have these guys suddenly treat me with such kindness and love alarmed me.

For the next few months, I went to the Church where I was welcomed, encouraged and treated as if I was a dear friend by everyone. During our practice times, I grew more and more close to those around me.

In December, getting near our time for the event was also my birthday. Usually, I expected just me and my family to celebrate it, but this day, in particular, I would be surprised.  The teenage boys who I got to know came to my home and took me out! We went to an arcade to enjoy some games, ate pizza, watched movies and had an amazing time. They had even pooled their money together and got me a present, which I had no idea why anyone other than family would do. It was an NIV student Bible.

When I was a child, my mother, a former Quaker, and member of Job’s daughters had always put me in Summer bible school to give me something to do during these months. Even then, I had only heard a few stories from the bible, but never really got into anything deep: heck, I was just a kid back then.

Now as a teenager, I was introduced formally to Jesus. These teenage boys who barely knew me were treating me with such love and friendship. I was a geeky nobody and yet they treated me with more affection than I had ever experienced from someone other than family. No one preached to me or tried to tell me I was going to hell if I didn’t repent: they just loved me like a friend. With that bible in hand, I decided then and there to find out where this love came from.

With their silent testimony, my walk with Jesus began.

I attended church, studied my bible, and really started to understand the depths of God’s love and his eternal plan for me and for all mankind. Like any other person, I had a hard time understanding what I was learning, yet I continued. As I attended church, my mother often commented that she liked me going there.

“You’re like a different person.” She’d said one day. “You seem happier now.” I hadn’t really noticed myself and realized then that I had become happier. The time I spent at that church changed my outlook on life.

Eventually, I gave my heart to Jesus and asked him into my life. It wasn’t until after I had graduated and joined the Army that I had been baptized by a chaplain at the base in Fort Knox, Kentucky. It was in a small church on base where I and three other soldiers came into the old sanctuary and were baptized there. I was walking back to my barracks but felt like I was a foot off the ground. Even though I didn’t last long enough in the Army to serve, the experience of baptism was one I would never forget.
