In general comparison, electric-powered vehicles tend to be costlier than other normal vehicles. An upward surge in the fuel price can affect the regular vehicle owners, as the end consumer, have to bear the cost ultimately. Whereas, recharging electric vehicles are comparatively cheaper, thereby enabling the owner to save costs in the longer run.

The mileage of the vehicles depending upon the level of fuel it consumes during the travel. Cars, bikes, and heavy vehicles have a powerful engine that renders output as per its make and design. Therefore, the level of fuel usage depends upon the quality of the vehicle. Electric vehicles are built upon different battery capacities. A higher capacity will accommodate a longer travel period as compared to a lower one. 

Emission

All vehicles have a significant amount of emissions that affect the environment adversely. However, in comparison, the emission level of an electric vehicle is lower than that of a fuel-based one. Although steps are being taken to control vehicle emissions, it is difficult to avoid them completely. This is because the charger points for electric vehicles would have to depend on other resources where emission is inevitable.
