I think that The End So Far is WAY too over hated and when i look at posts ranting about how bad the album is and that it's "not like Slipknot anymore", pretty much the only complaint i see is about Adderall being on it.
People act like Adderall ruined the whole album. And you know what's the solution to this? Skip the song. Don't listen to it if it makes you that mad. Go listen to the dying song, hive mind or warranty if you want some heavier songs from the album.
Literally the solution to pretty much every problem is to stop consuming things that really make you that mad about something. I've seen people go onto each other over that album because it's "too calm for Slipknot". Yes, the album is noticably calmer than Iowa (which people tend to compare to TESF), but if people would actually give it a proper listen without crashing out as soon as Adderall comes on i think the hate towards the album would be much less.
Still don't like the album? Then just skip it. Don't listen to it. Don't force yourself to like it if you can't. Stop consuming things that make you so mad that you're gonna harass other people for liking it.
I personally really like the album and i think it's even better than the gray chapter. Adderall is one of my favorites and it's just so baffling to see people crashing out on a album because of one (1) song (in most cases). You're allowed to criticize something, and i see where some of the criticism comes from about TESF, but don't get mad at others for liking something you don't.
