“Leon please.” He’s been feeling the change sneaking its ugly head up on him for a few hours. He knew it was a bad idea to come to the festival, but yet here he was. And with Leon following him around out of concern for Dakota. He tried to hide his pain, but he knows it's too intense to not be noticeable. “Please you need to go.” He breaths out slowly, feeling the first fracture of bones starting. Dakota cries out, the pain intensifying as he doubles over; his arms instantly moving in a fashion that he shows he's trying to protect his stomach.

It was too late. Even if Leon tried to leave, Dakota knew he won't make it; especially since the change was happening faster than he had hoped.

"Fuck...argh!" Dakota's voice strangles out through his screams. It's all due to his leg fracturing in a way that brings him down to one leg. He's still hutched over, his hands touching the grass to keep himself up.

He looks over his shoulder just as his second leg cracks and topples him to the ground. His fingers clenched a fist full of grass and dirt, his nails making marks in the dirt. He sees Leon still standing there. Luckily for them, it seems like with the blackout, everyone had seemed to disappear from the campsite.

"Leon you gotta run...now!" He manages to yell out to his friend as more of his bones fracture and he's lets out a loud scream of pain that echoes through the campsite.
