There are disillusioned folks out there who like to say that rock music is dead, yet here we are, knee deep in a plethora of fine debuts from new bands like this one, a trio from Birmingham named Terror Watts. Tom Hughes (vocals/guitar), Jake Wilks (bass), and Olly Caunce (drums) originally played together in rockability styled outfit The Cedar House Band before parting ways and relocating to various parts of the world. They’ve since reunited in their home town as Terror Watts. Having singed to Punk Slime Recordings, the three piece douses us with surfy garage rock on restless bustling So Alone. This worn, tattered anthem is undeniably infectious and a whole lot of fidgety fun.
