Sister of Rina Shnerb, who was killed in bomb attack, names her new daughter Emunah Rina, after her late sister. 'A victory against terror'.
Moriah Singer, the bereaved sister of Rina Shnerb, gave birth to a daughter over the weekend, naming her after her late aunt.
Last August, 17-year-old Rina Shnerb was killed in a terrorist bombing attack near the Ein Bubin spring outside of Dolev in western Samaria, while she was hiking with her father and brother.
Terrorists remotely detonated the bomb while the three Israelis were hiking, killing Rina and seriously injuring her father and brother.
This morning, the latest addition to the Shnerb family was named Emunah Rina, after her murdered aunt.
âWith praise and thanks to God, we are happy to announce that our daughter, Moriah Singer, and her husband, Neriya, had a daughter, the coupleâs first child, on the Sabbath. She is the fifth generation (of descendants) to Holocaust survivors. Today she was named âEmunah Rinaâ,â the family said in a statement Monday morning.
âOur grandmother, who survived Auschwitz, used to say every time a child or grandchild or great-grandchild was born, that this was her victory over the Nazis. We also see this as a kind of victory over the accursed terrorists who are trying to cut off the continuation of the Jewish people. With Godâs help, we will continue to have many children, who will continue to Jewish people and fill the paths and springs of the Land of Israel.â
âThese women are those who bear the children â the new life into the world â in contrast to the leader of the murderers, who is also a woman - Khalida Jarrar â the accursed terrorist who destroys life under the cover of a âhuman rightsâ organization. In contrast to them, we dedicate our lives to creating new life.â

Jewish Breaking News
On March 23, 2011, Arab terrorists placed a bomb next to the #74 bus stop near the Jerusalemâs Binyanei Hauma building, in front of the store âPitzutz Shel Kioskâ.
At 3 PM, the kiosk ownerâs brother-in-law, David Amuyal, noticed a suspicious bag near the store and he called the police.
He succeeded in moving some people away, but then the bomb, filled with ball-bearings and metal, exploded.
In the explosion, a tourist from England, Mary Jean Gardner, was murdered and 39 more people were wounded, including Amuyal.
Among the wounded was Hodaya Nechama Assulin of Mevo Horon. She was 14-years-old at the time.
Hodaya has been in a coma since the 2011 attack.
Two weeks ago her condition took a turn for the worse, and on Wednesday morning she passed away. Another victim of âPalestinianâ terrorism.
Footnote: The kiosk had been renamed âPitzutz Shel Kioskâ or âBlast of a Kioskâ in 1994 by the owner Shimshon Moshe, after an Arab suicide bomber blew it up on December 25, 1994, killing 13 people. The owner vowed that the terrorists would not win and he would continue to work there.

On Sunday afternoon Adelle Banita-Bennett, widow of Aharon Banita-Bennett, who herself was seriously injured in the stabbing attack Saturday night in Old City of Jerusalem, woke up from medical coma she had been placed under in order to enable doctors to treat her.
Among the first people she spoke to was Ashkenazic Chief Rabbi David Lau, whom she told in detail about the attack.
The widow told Rabbi Lau that she attempted to escape from the terrorist after the stabbing began.
âI ran for dozens of meters with a knife in my shoulder, bleeding. Arabs in the area who saw this horrible scene clapped and laughed, and told that they hoped for my quick death. I felt I was about to faint,â she said. âI tried to hold on to someone who passed by, and they just shook me off and kicked me, and said 'die.'â
Earlier, Rabbi Lau spoke at the funeral of Aharon Banita-Bennett.
âA young man with his wife â whom we pray for â were attached to God, happy in fulfilling His commandments, and their holiday was turned to pain and anguish,â he said in his eulogy. âInstead of celebrating, we accompany a young rabbi at his funeral.
âWe pray to God, to Whom we are attached, that He provide us with good tidings, with the comfort of Zion and Jerusalem, and for the end of death in the coming of the Messiah,â he added.
Rabbi Nehemia Lavi, 41, and Aharon Banita Bennett, 21, were both murdered as a result of Saturdayâs terrorist attack. Bennett's wife, AdelleBanita, 22, and their two-year-old son were also injured. Later Saturday night, an Arab terrorist attempted to stab a Jewish youth in central Jerusalem.
