          ( a LOT of people do, thank god. i was never a fan of clara, but after he regenerated, i HATED her, even more than i hated amy pond ( who, admittedly, has grown on me a little bit in my rewatches; i still hate how she treated rory ( he wanted centuries for her, but when she had to wait for HIM? she threw a fit ), and i hate how much they tried to force the romance between her and the doctor -- the only ones who get to love the doctor without it being obnoxious are rose and river imo ). aside from river, i don’t think moffat KNOWS how to write a strong female character. not that my river song love is showing or anything. XD i miss when companions weren’t DEPENDENT on the doctor, that they were their own people without him and that they were dynamic as fuck when they were with him. moffat just needs to step down. )
