Hello tumblr, I must show you my snailsâ new home!!
I hope that you enjoy it! I bought everything inside of it from my local dollar tree!!
I wanted them to live in a mystical and welcoming little town!!
Hi! I'm a AntsCanada fan and he recently got vampire crabs and I want to know your opinion on them.
I wasnât aware of AntsCanada and had to look him up. Here is the video.Â
Here is my opinion on vampire crabs:

In case anybody saw the video but missed this fun factoid: these crabs are very common in the pet trade, but there were a few ânew speciesâ discovered only a few years ago! Hereâs an article from 2015 about them [link]!

Itâs tickety boo!!!
Crowleyâs tank is coming along great! I found a guy on Facebook Marketplace that was selling the tank, hides, two bags of bedding, three heat lamps, and four heat bulbs all for forty dollars! And I got the furniture underneath for $30 at Goodwill.
All greenery was purchased at Michaels and the dollar store, and probably adds up to about $10 worth.
The only thing I bought new so far has been the thermometer/hygrometer(humidity), but I didnât really want to skimp on that, since those things are very important for his health, but it was still only $20 at my local reptile supply store.
Then it was just clean everything, throw it all in, and test the heat/humidity. Seems like everything is working well, so the next step...
Bring home the snek! Yâall will definitely see that when it happens. đ
Hi! I want to upgrade my BRB terrarium before I get him, can you give me an opinion on which one you like/think its best? I know BRB like climbing so thats why I want to make this, but idk which one is best for climbing.. link for my post> itskaztiel tumblr com/post/157760648688 Thanks!!!
Hello there!Uh, in my personal experience BRBâs rarely climb and more often select burrows and caves than high perches, but this could just be individual behaviors in the animals Iâve observed. I would say your terrarium option #4 is the best bet, with both perches and shelves to accommodate climbing and two built-in caves to provide hidey spots. I would ditch the heat rock, as those are really not great for snakes, and instead provide a RHP or UTH and an extra-large water bowl for soaking as most BRBâs Iâve met have enjoyed frequent leisurely baths.

Frog tank frog tank frog tank frog tank frog-
(all Iâve learned while researching) Pac Man frog care masterpost
Seriously why has nobody done this.
Disclaimer: I am getting my first frog on January 4/5 2020. This will of course be updated with personal experience but for now just what Iâve found online.
Feel free to add/correct me on anything
The pac man frog: aka cornwells horned frog or Amazon horned frog
(albino variety)
The plan has been put into motion
In ordered the terrarium!!!
I'm currently deciding on which hide to get:
They're the same price and approximate size
Pros of the Buffalo skull:
slightly smaller
wider eyes and more plain white surface for better observability
cute
Pros of the dragon skull:
I could stick to the dragon theme
it's the closest to a dinosaur skull I originally wanted but it ran out of stock
it's more detailed
For a plant, I chose a red fittonia
I would have preferred to pick something native to Thailand that would work in a terrarium, but I couldn't find one
This one matches all the criteria I had though, it needs the same temperature and humidity as the bug
And they are both pink and match!
And finally!!
The pink dragon millipede I'm getting
IT'S SO FUCKING ADORABLE
