#teroclaw

The initial sketch was traced from the in game model (on the right) and then I added my own twists and tweaks to the final product! This was more of a test, but I like the end result :D

Entry 1: I've spent more time than I admit to care for these past weeks watching the great Teroclaws of Dreanor. I took this upon myself to better understand my own Teroclaw chick, Flametalon. There was much reward in studying these great raptors, as I can now better Flametalon's care. I studied several nests of the Red and Black variety of Teroclaw, the drawing included, is of a rather large male. -Diet: While the Teroclaw is a raptor and eats mainly meat, it seems to have a distinct preference for the bones, more specifically, the marrow contained within the bones of its meal. -Habitat: Teroclaws are mainly found in the northeast portion of Talador, and just outside of Auchindoun. Of the nests I studied, all seemed to be on the ground, quite strange for birds, nestled within tree roots, or not far from the bases of trees. Perhaps this is because while the chicks develop, there is a period where their body is far too large for their underdeveloped wings to lift them off of the ground. -Appearance: Females are considerably larger than males, and are by far, the more aggressive of the two, females are often the protector of nests and offspring. Males however have longer beards, and more colorful plumage. -Day 1, Talador, Draenor

He will be a giant teroclaw someday but for now he is a cute flightless chicken
