Account @temptaestions​​ on Tumblr has been stealing gifs from multiple content creators on Tumblr and Twitter. She has been cropping, recoloring then reposting and claiming these gifs as her own since January 2019.  When contacted by multiple content creators, she maintained that the cropped and recolored gifs are hers. Further, when asked, she said that she had the video on her phone and gif-ed there. [1]  

On September 8, Eshika made a post with the different psd’s that she used on editing the gifs, and made no comment on the actual process of making the gif. Admin Kelly had contacted them by private message on September 9 to remove all reposted, cropped, and re-colored gifs and/or uncredited content. They have not replied to any of her messages until now.

Account @kimsnamjoons​​ (now @girlssgeneration as of 11/15) has been re-editing other content creators’ gifs from multiple fandoms and claiming them as their own since at least November 2017. Dayna was contacted by at least 5 gif-makers, other individuals, and admin Tiffany (11/05/18) over 2 weeks (10/22 to 11/05); and has blocked all of them. In November 2017 gif-makers also contacted Dayna, made call-out posts, and were also blocked.

Instead they continue to claim they make their own gifs when replying to asks and in personal posts on @kimsnamjoons​​ and their twitter account, @cutienamjoons. Further, they say that they feel “their” gifs are not appreciated, but they plan to continue reposting anyway. They repost as many as 7 compilation gif sets in a day.

You can see their reposts under their tag #dayna’s shit and #mine. If you see your work was reposted, you can report misattribution with this form in order to remove all reblogs of the post.

Account @army-baby-gzb on Tumblr has been reposting and cropping logos out from fan sites’ photos, videos, scans, and posts from Twitter and Facebook since at least 2016.

Admin Tiffany N. had contacted them 3 times through IM in 01/17 when an initial report was submitted to btsgfx. Tiffany was able to begin a conversation on 02/13/18 for them to remove all reposted and/or uncredited content, but @army-baby-gzb has only removed posts they have been specifically confronted with and refuses to delete reposts on their own effort. Tiffany was blocked 02/14. Admin Cynthia sent a last IM on 02/15 to remove all reposts with no response.

Account @/knj (previously @rmvely, @moonboyv, @taehyungplus, @aftershock1230, @ilwoljk, @peonchim, @jiminfull95, @agikkuk, @JUNGKOOK97t, @taebboong, @kkuk_twt) on Twitter has been reposting gif sets, graphics, translations, art, scans, and various other works from BTS content creators since at least September of 2017. They also host scam giveaways.

05/01/18 Update: You can check @bangtanthief for username updates and recent allegations, such as stealing ARMY5 membership. Please follow @bangtanthief if you are active on Twitter so that your account is automatically blocked by @/knj’s new accounts.

03/22/18 Update: Over the past 6 months, they mostly repost translations and scans; causing some content creators to close access to their work.

Before @kkuk_twt was deleted, they had reposted many Mic Drop Remix graphics and seemed to be compiling them from btsgfx. Likely, they were using @springbts13 (deactivated) or another Tumblr account to repost to Twitter.

If you see your work reposted, you may submit a copyright infringement form to have them removed. By law, all creators automatically receive copyrights of ownership and distribution for works posted on the Internet as long as source materials (even if copyrighted) allow modification or are transformed. Please report @/knj’s accounts if you have a Twitter account. By creating so many accounts, they violate Twitter’s Spam & Security policy:

Click “Report [username]” from the list of options that appear.

Click “They are tweeting spam”.

Account @mxrrakkii on Tumblr has been reposting fan-taken photos and gfx without credit  from multiple BTS content creators since January of 2018. Admin Grace had contacted them on 02/12 to remove all reposted and/or uncredited content after we recieved a report from a tumblr account who had previously contacted them. @mxrrakkii has created this post insulting said account and making excuses for their actions. Currently, @mxrrakkii has ignored admin Grace’s messages and appears to not be online.

Account @slythjeon (now abandoned since 07/08; formerly @absolutebts, @tinkervell) has been drawing inspiration from Magdiel Lopez without credit and copying his style since October of 2017. Admin Cynthia contacted them on 06/27/18, where she informed them about an anonymous submission we have received regarding the alarming similarities between @slythjeon’s works and those of Magdiel Lopez. @slythjeon replied with a thanks and shortly after deleted all of their graphics.

After Cynthia asked why they had deleted all their work without clarifying the accusations, they explained that Lopez is one of their role models and claimed:

they never intended to copy Lopez’s style or works;

this is the first time someone's said their work is (too) similar to Lopez’s;

they do not know which of their works are potential copies of Lopez’s;

and they have never directly drawn inspiration from Lopez’s work (though they followed a few YouTube tutorials that emulate Lopez’s graphics).

We are not creating this post to ask everyone to no longer reblog their works or to block @slythjeon, but to inform. With this information, please decide which actions you wish to take, but we highly discourage anyone from contacting @slythjeon​ unless you are personally affected.
