Carell took a deep breath of the moist night air. It was warm now, pleasantly so, but a still wind kept it from getting too hot. As of right now he was sitting on a park bench, staring up at the moon. It was full tonight. A beautiful shade of red, a harvest moon, as it was once called.
A sound caught Carell’s eye and he lowered his head to look. Not too far away from him was a man. Six feet at least with a fall of mangy black hair. It could do with a good brushing, that was for sure. After deeming the other attractive, but of little importance to him Carell turned his eyes back to the moon.
