Tepache SPAS 12 (3?)
I made tepache, it was good.
Also sauerkraut and ginger beer.
In my Nonna-maxxing era
Tepache in a form fitting dress
Just realized I have never drew Tepache with her pride flag

Long Time No Tepa
Been like 4 months since I posted a Tepache image, gonna fix that soon!
Hello! Making some homemade Pineapple beer (Tepache). I'm trying to reduce and reuse, so I used the skin to make it! It's still fermenting. And I personally don't drink so it will be going to someone else, but I wanted to share it if anyone wants to make themselves a homemade alcoholic drink for real cheap. Now I had to change the recipe a bit since I could only use what I had on hand.
So sharing the original recipe and the alternative recipe I used.
Here's the original.
1. Pineapple Skins.
2. 1.5 cup of Brown sugar.
3. 2 slices of Ginger.
4. 3 Cloves.
5. Water.
Vs.
The way I made it with what I had:
1. Pineapple Skins.
2. Brown sugar.
3. Cinnamon. (To replace the ginger)
4. 1 Bay leaf. (To replace the cloves.)
5. Water.
Use any version you like. Optional ingredients: chili peppers, and of course cinnamon because that is a common ingredient in this drink.
Anyways, here's the link to the original recipe I found: https://youtube.com/shorts/dEsanioeHr8?si=7ZGcfmkPP7DXYvjN
Enjoy if any of ya make it! Make sure to ferment it good!
Tepache
I've been making various "potions" but this has been the most consistently successful and tasty
It's important to rinse the pineapple though. The one time I didn't I got spooky red and white mould
The "recipe" is just pineapple skin and sugar water. I use brown sugar, about two big spoons, some people add spices but I like it as is. It's great. Maybe 2% alcohol and close to but not actually sparkling
