Hmmmm lemme think...in no particular order, I think it would have to go something like:

Voice and Shadow: Canon-divergent Midnight what-if; written on a whim inspired by a conversation I saw on tumblr, and one of my bae-iest of baes. Sort of allows my latent love of gothic horror/romance to seep through the cracks. I’d really like to write more like it, actually. I like a good scare in the middle of my love stories. ;)

Demi-Gods and Would-be Gods: Sort of a melancholy story, in ways. Written as a prompt-fill and also a way to address my own conflicted thoughts on religion, I guess...? Someone pointed out recently how sort of melancholic it is; I hadn’t quite been able to put my finger on it before, but they’re right. For all the mentions of aliens and adventure, it’s a weirdly grounded take on Rose and the Doctor’s relationship.

A Thousand Ways to Say Goodbye: This story was sort of deliciously awful to write, in that I knew exactly what I was going to put the characters through from the very beginning, and I enjoyed every terrible moment of it. The Time Lord Victorious was particularly fun to explore.

Observations of Competitive Reproduction: I get warm fuzzies every time I think about the troll who sent me the ask that inspired this fic, because guys, my buddies, my pals, I fucking love this fic. Like don’t get me wrong, I gots my problems with aspects of how Journey’s End panned out, but I still loves me some Rose and Tentoo, and this fic was basically a way to barf out all the in-universe reasons I think it was--despite its flaws--a good ending overall. Does it still hurt? Boy howdy, it sure does. It’s bittersweet as hell. But just because something stings, that doesn’t make it bad. So it was nice to get to discuss that, especially from Tentoo’s point of view.

Spatial Awareness in Bloom: My first fem!Doctor fic holds a special place in my nerdy-queer li’l heart. I love me some Hayley Doctor, and I also love me some angst, and unresolved romantic tension, and mutual misunderstandings and hurt feelings, and and and yup I think I just described my formula for half of my fics, ha ha ha whoops I regret nothing

Evolution of a Scandal by @rishidiams : Nine/Rose, adult, escort AU. On my second read-through. (Caution: some scenes of rough treatment, attempts at cruel power play.)

Perfect Match by @lastbluetardis : Ten/Rose, adult, soulmate AU. Not quite done reading this one, but it’s gorgeous and sweet and heartbreaking and enthralling and I’ve read through most of it in... two days? Less?

In My Veins by @dimensionhoppingrose : Ten/Rose, very sweet soulmate AU featuring a telepathic bond and ace!Doctor. Devoured it in one afternoon. <3 (Caution: depicts an eating disorder.)

put her on to simmer by @perfectlyrose : Nine/Rose, NSFW, sexting. Short and sizzling.

Beefing Up for Beginners by @tenscupcake : Ten/Rose, teen. A little goofy and sweet. Addresses male body image insecurities. Also, Donna putting some sense into the Doctor. <3

Chiaroscuro by radiantbaby : Nine/Martha, M, Nine before meeting Rose. Adventure, fighting an alien virus, and the Doctor acknowledging and valuing Martha, and it feels a little like closure for her with him.

I'm loving what you're doing with the story but have found that it's easier to read things in chunks for me these days rather than a chapter at a time. I definitely will catch up soon! Your writing is wonderful! ❤

very very sadly it happens so often... it sucks so much. but don't let it pressure you to change your plan or alter the story. tell it the way you intended it to be told! otherwise what's the point? btw i'm definitely gonna get caught up i've just been a mess lately tbh

As a professional copy editor, yes, thoughts are almost always in italics to distinguish it from speech. No reason this wouldn't apply to telepathy.

i've never seen anyone giving anyone else shit for using italics to convey non-spoken communication. it seems like the most appropriate way to distinguish it from both spoken conversation and internal monologue at once. it's what i always use.
