This is true whether it is with ourselves or others...and it’s something we can cultivate through practice/meditation...the practice requires this...the opposite of our busy life. It’s a quality of attention that heals and restores our energy. It is patience that allows us to be loving with what arises...like a patient parent with a cranky child...sometimes that cranky child is me!
