While this new city seemed pleasant enough, Yukito did still have a lot to learn of it and it’s magic, with Yue being on edge over not seeing his master for some time. Of course, Yukito was worried about Sakura as well, and starting to fret a bit about their friends in Tomoeda, but nothing would get done being besides themselves with worry, so the young man decided to go for a walk in the park hoping the scenery would also put his other self at ease. 

                 Although not the epitome of incandescent sanguinity, he truly prefers to prevent defeatism from anchoring him in incertitude and similar sentiments that might prove detrimental. Already, an immeasurable weight rests upon his back, and he'll not be able to elude it eternally. For now, though, the venturesome male can pursue opportunities that might enliven and enlighten simultaneously. A place like this - seemingly designed to establish profound bonds 'tween those who intrepidly venture to it - is an ideal spot for seeking out such memorable experiences. Yet, why would an aloof pessimist like the enigmatic man before him travel this way?

❝ Of course,  we’re going to play with the stalls with that magic of yours, but I’d also like to have a bit of fun with the festival goers as well.❞   Tsurumaru began, a mischievious look on his face. 

It was something the tachi had cooked up to have fun as well in the process of the “surprise”. But with Shade’s knack for magic, it could be quite the extravagant show for their targets.  ❝ You create the ‘oni’, maybe to pop out and jumpscare them a little, then we’ll turn it into a gallant battle for them to watch. Sounds good, don’t you think? ❞  Tsuru mused. 

      “   rarely do such sufferings manage to do so.   ”   all the half-hearted talk about becoming someone who did good often skipped over the pains that one would have to endure, the constant mistakes that they would run into as they try and correct themselves. sometimes pain was just that — pain. nothing to be gained from it.

     hasebe compresses a sigh from pursed lips, neatly tapping the cards in his hand into a stack of squares, fanning them out a second after.   “   pain is an excellent teacher, but we students do not usually learn from it, which is a natural reaction to such a harsh education.   ”

Perhaps she blends in with the shadows, black cloak and all– if so, then he seems to be born of the darkness ( and just that thought is something menacing of itself, perhaps, that is something close to feeling ‘fear’ ). Despite that, she remains calm when she feels a gaze on her, eyes just barely peering up from underneath her hood.
