Plastic stars
Incognizable chatter,
Buzzing, staring in awe
Flicks on man’s wand
Creating similarity to nature and beyond
All the while destroying it all
He moulds the cast with stardust
Lined with powdered glitter
Not made of magic, but made of man’s
Glorious, destructive plastic
Winks of the stars when aligned
Achieved by flickers of switched lights
Toggle the switch, watch disappearing
Man’s stars, while the sun shall shine
Smiles brought in people’s eyes
Replaced by fakes, plastered onto the face
Heedless generations
Hence what’s of the future to them?
Man’s creations, oh a star’s celestial child
Same beauty, same pride
In the eyes of man himself.
Yet another cheap remake
By the heedless, reckless, hopeless gazer
Who wishes yet fails to master the Universe’s craft
