My new keeb from Drop x LOTR collab!
It's beautiful however I have some complaints despite being a keeb noob.
One: It's not hotswap. Which I was excited to get one that's already soldered. However, the metal plate and pcb have no foam in between them. Creating an atrocious metallic ping when you press some of the keys. I don't solder so I can't fix it unfortunately.
Two: I was switching the shift keycap out and one of the stabilizers broke off with the keycap💀 I would fix it but I would have to desolder it to get to the stabs.
My only complaints are around the fact that its soldered and I can't desolder it to fix the problems. (˘_˘٥) Also I think it's expensive for its price, when comparing it to my Yunzii x Coolkiller keyboard (which was cheaper by like 10$ lol).
What I do like about it; It's beautiful, the keycaps feel great, the green case is very nice! This is my first keyboard with tactile switches, and I like the sound. I have to play music or wear headphones when typing on this keyboard to drown out the pinging, though. As a fan I think it looks great, kinda wish I had just bought the keycaps and built a keyboard instead.
I did get to do my first mod, and it was the tempest mod!
