maybe prompt #28 fluff ("Am I dreaming?) with Tenzin, Pema, and Lin in a poly relationship?
Hmm...this is not something I have really written before, but I will give it a go. Slightly NSFW warning here.
“Am I dreaming?” murmured Pema, mostly to herself as she rolled over in bed. Vacations were rare in her life, let alone a vacation with both of her loves and no children. Tenzin was fast asleep beside her, his muscled chest rising and falling evenly as he dreamed.
“Since I don’t think our dreams are often the same, I daresay you aren’t.” The smart remark came from the lounge seat by the window where Lin was nestled with a cup of coffee. Usually Tenzin and Lin were up with the sun, but their husband always slept in on vacation. Lin however, woke like clockwork.
“Good morning, Lin.” Pema sat upright, letting the sheet slip off her chest, exposing her bare body as she stretched in the light of the sunrise. She felt, rather than observed, Lin watching her greedily from her perch.
After all these years, it warmed her heart to know she could still provoke a reaction from her wife. Last night had proven that the three of them hadn’t lost their passion after all these years together. Their lives were so busy, especially in the last few years, that sometimes they forgot what originally brought them together. This vacation was a good reminder.
“Is it a good dream?” asked Lin as she set her coffee down and climbed back into bed, sliding in on the other side of Pema.
As Pema relaxed back into the feathered pillows, Lin trailed a finger across Pema’s shoulder to her collarbone and down her sternum to her stomach. There her fingertips danced over the stretch marks that were evidence of four children carried and delivered into a loving family.
“The best...” murmured Pema and her eyes fluttered closed as her wife kissed her neck. She couldn’t remember the last time that they had the luxury of going back to bed in the morning. On the days that Lin didn’t sleep in the city, they still had the children and an island full of Airbenders to deal with. This vacation was much needed.
“Good morning...” The rumble of Tenzin’s voice drew Pema’s attention now. Lin didn’t even look up from her attention to the sensitive skin of Pema’s neck. He was smiling at them both, his head propped up by his hand as he watched them.
“I’m having the most amazing dream,” said Pema, winking in his direction. He let out a chuckle, a sound that brought a smile to Pema’s face. Tenzin didn’t often laugh and the sound was music to her ears.
Lin’s head popped up and addressed Tenzin, ordering, “Go get us some breakfast...I’m starving.”
This caused him to laugh more and he rolled over on his stomach. “You’re going to make me walk away from this most wonderous dream?”
It was his turn to wink at Pema who giggled but then gasped when Lin’s hands began roaming a little lower. She reached out and smacked Tenzin’s backside and said, “Your wives demand some breakfast!”
“Alright, alright!” Tenzin slid out of the bed, a lighthearted smile on his face. He dawned a silk robe and started for the door. “Just save some dessert for me, Lin.”
“No promises,” muttered Lin and she swung her leg over Pema so she was straddling the other woman. Pema shrieked in glee as Lin descended upon her, peppering her exposed skin with kisses.
A moment that seemed to good to be anything but a dream...however Pema was feeling very much awake.
