I know Roman doesn't fancy me because he calls me his mate.
One of my FAVOURITE Trip bits is when he parks the Enterprise right in between the Vulcan and Andorian ships to maintain the cease fire. What an absolute power move.Â
PLUS the Andorian Captain (Telev) is the KING of sass. Telling Trip to withdraw because he didn't want the Enterprise to be damaged by debris from the Vulcan ships? KNOWING that theyâre all currently on a conference call with the Vulcan commander? AMAZING. Honestly the Andorians and Vulcans should have bonded over their shared love of drama long ago.

Neighbours!AU with Telev
Anonymous said:Â Congrats on getting 500 followers! For the AU prompts, can I have flirting headcanons for Neighbors! AU with Telev please?
You didnât really like your neighbour. At. All.
For one thing, Telev (what sort of a name is Telev, anyways?) was insufferable. It was a surprise that his body could contain such an ego.
You knew him from college, but just barely. He dropped out to join the army in his second year.
To you, not so much of a loss. He was no genius, and was more the street-smarts than book-smarts type.
But even so, he had his own mystique back then. He barely talked to anyone, had no real friends that anyone could think of.
After retiring from the army, he now worked as a personal trainer, and unfortunately, you noticed.
He had a better physique than most guys you met.
And he drove a monster of a car that you were 99% sure he neglected to put mufflers on.
No amount of âyou know what they say about men with big carsâŚâ jokes could possibly comfort you when you awoke to the sound of tires squealing.
You were on the verge of keying his car at one point. Or worse.
But the guy didnât seem aware of his own idiocy. In fact, it seemed as if he thought he was the most superior person on Earth.
One time you were waiting on the curb for a cab to pick you up, dressed very nicely because you were going to a friendâs birthday party, and he walks by, eyeing you from head to toe.
âSomeone should call the fire department. All of a sudden, itâs gotten quite a bit hotter.â
Caught off-guard, your cheeks flushed red and you turned away. If you expected some follow-through, you didnât get any.
But for a few days after, you replayed that line in your head. The way he said it. Not at all lewdly, but as if he was making an off-hand comment. Yet there was something deeper in his voice, something raw, almost intimidating.
After that, when you crossed paths, heâd give you a curt nod, perhaps the tiniest smile, and you were on edge.
Was he trying to make you crack?
If so, youâd make him break first.
You started returning his infinitesimal smiles with even smaller winks. You wore clothes that you knew you looked good in.
Sometimes, youâd rush up to him with small, neighbourly problems.
âI was planning on making cookies and I ran out of sugar. You donât happen to have any, do you?â
Turns out that he was a decent baker. More than decent.
âMy grandmother taught me. But donât go saying that, I have something of a reputation to uphold.â
But it was that comment about the car that really did it.
Telev was washing his car, and you walked straight up to him. And without blinkingâŚ
âYou know what they say about guys with big cars? Prove me wrong.â
For a moment, he just stood there. And then he started laughing. And he kept laughing, as he leaned down to kiss you. A rather sweet kiss.
âI think I ought to take you out on a date before any of that. I might seem like an idiot with bigger muscles than brains, but I know how to treat someone right.â
Word Prompts: Telev + Illiquation & Vespertine
@babixjenii said: Hi! I asked for a Telev a while ago with #11 & 19, & I wanted to thank you for writing that, it was amazing! Would you be able to mix #10 & 33 for him too? Or you can write for just one prompt! I hope you have an amazing trip to Portugal! <3
Illiquation: âThe melting of one thing into another.â
Vespertine: âRelating to, occurring, or active in the evening.â
The ground was hard, and the air was cold as hell, but you had never felt more comfortable and content in your life. Thousands of stars shone above you, glowing like tiny and distant fires in the fabric of nightâs dark cloak. A pair of arms encircled you, a head rested on your shoulder.
âWe call that constellation ashaan, or the soldier,â Telev said, pointing to a cluster of about seven stars, arranged in a pattern not unlike Orion. âIt is said that when a brave Andorian dies, he will join the ashaan in the empyrean.â
âWell, itâs nice to know where your âundiscovered countryâ is,â you joked. One of Televâs antenna quirked to the side â a sign of curiosity.
âUndiscovered country? Thatâs rather poetic,â he said.
âOne of the greatest playwrights of Earth coined that term. William Shakespeare. He said that the fear of something after death makes us bear the pain of living.â
âHe sounds like a brave warrior himself, this⌠Shake-speare.â
âThe pen is mightier than the sword.â
âOnly if it is sharp.â
The two of you laughed aloud, the sounds of your joy rising into the sky and echoing on the barren moor you had chosen as your stargazing spot.
âWhat about that one?â you asked, pointing to a smaller arrangement of stars. Televâs blue lips twisted into a smile.
âThat,â he said, pressing a small kiss into the crook of your shoulder. âIs the ukiin. The heart. Itâs a popular motif on jewelry gifted to oneâs significant other, or close family.â
Televâs hand slipped underneath the collar of his coat, and pulled out a silver chain with a tiny pendant. On the pendant, there were three small, pale green crystals in the shape of the constellation you had just seen.
âMy brother and I have a matching set, although his is blue,â Telev explained. âWe rarely see each other, given our postings in the Andorian fleet. But I remember that Shalas and I joked when we were very young that we would give these necklaces to our own beloveds. Shalas already gave his away, to the woman who is soon to be his wife.â
âSeems like you lost the race,â you teased.
â(Y/N), this is not a second place I would be ashamed of,â Telev said. âIt means I waited for the right person.â
Pulling the chain over his neck, he held it out to you. You saw a rare, nervous gleam in his eyes.
âWill you take it, (Y/N)?â Telev asked. âFor there is no one Iâd rather entrust my heart to.â
For a moment, you couldnât say a thing. You could feel tears welling in your eyes, but you couldnât find the words to say. Finally, you just resorted to a nod, throwing your arms around Telev.
âYou humans are rather emotional,â Telev said, trying to suppress a laugh.
âOh, shut up,â you said, pulling him in for a kiss. He pulled back rather quickly, to your dismay, with a puzzled expression on his face.
âThatâs a yes, right?â he asked. The fact that you tugged his lips back to yours instantly answered his question.

âTell me,â you murmured, gently running your hands up and down Televâs arms. âWhat is a sunrise like on your world?â
There was a pause before Telev replied. His face was settling into a blissful expression, his eyes closed and a smile forming on his thin lips.
âCertainly not this colourful,â he said. âThe sun on Andoria shines with a light of the palest shade of blue, so bright, yet it cannot cut through the cold.â
âHave you ever thought of writing poetry, love?â you asked Telev, pressing a quick and chaste kiss to his shoulder. He turned his head to nudge your lips to his. As he kissed you, you felt the planetâs warm and soothing sunlight crest over the rugged horizon, casting shades of deep orange and rosy gold across your faces.
âIf I did write poetry,â Telev whispered between kisses. âI couldnât possibly describe everything you mean to me in a few simple verses.â
âTry,â you breathed, pulling away so that your faces were mere inches apart. From this close, you could see every miniscule fleck of colour in Televâs eyes. âTell me.â
âNow?â
âWhy not? Uncertain of yourself?â
âCertainly not,â Telev said, but paused hesitantly. You laughed, a full, airy sound that rang across the deserted field.
âIt doesnât have to be a poem. Iâll go first, if you want,â you offered.
âNo, I will go first,â Telev said, his voice sinking low. One of his hands took yours as he began to speak again. â(Y/N), this sunrise, and every sunrise after, will forever be twined with the memory of your glowing smiles, your brilliant eyes, the touch of your kiss that I long for from morning till night. I will see the first light of the day, and I will remember you. And I will turn to you, seeking your love straight from the wellspring of your lips.â
Telev paused, searching for approval in your expression. He saw something more. The Andorian raised your hand to his mouth, gallant as he was the first time he invited you to his home.
âWell?â Telev asked playfully, a complete contrast to his serious declaration only seconds before. âDo you want to go next?â
âIâm not even going to try to surpass that,â you finally found your voice, but no more words came. Instead, you embraced Telev, your heart pressed to his own. You could feel it beating rapidly against his chest, and you wondered at his bravery. He had laid his feelings bare for you to see, nothing holding his passionate words back. It took true courage to do such a thing.
