The Fibonacci Ward is a pretty big place, and with nothing better to do, Peter’s opted to explore it. There are some locations he is outright rejected from; the skyscrapers within the canyon, for example, are packed full of interesting things, but the higher up one goes, the more fancy the establishments are, and he’s gotten rejected more than once for what essentially boils down to not being rich enough, which is annoying in an eyeroll-inducing way.
That’s going up, though. Something he hadn’t tried until now is going farther down. He didn’t meet the same resistance attempting to progress in the opposite direction, but maybe it would’ve been better if he had, because having reached the bottom of the canyon now, he can’t say he feels all that great about having come all the way down here.
It’s incredibly dark; if it weren’t for the artificial lighting, it’d be pitch black, as the sun literally does not seem to reach this far down into Fibonacci’s canyon, much like the bottom of the ocean. The depths of the canyon are like a reverse Las Vegas, where instead of having the place look like daytime even in the night, it looks like nighttime during the day. It’s sort of messing with his sense of time; he knows the sun was out before, so logically it still should be. But down here it’s impossible to tell unless he looks at the time on his cell phone, and even then the dissonance of perceived nightfall not matching up with the actual time is... strange.
It’s like a dimly-lit maze in a rainforest of skyscrapers, and so it’s no real surprise that he winds up lost.
He’s standing uncertainly along one of the paths when there’s the sound of someone approaching from somewhere behind him, and his head snaps to the source, the movement tense and twitchy in a way that demonstrates his unease. It’s just another person, though. ❝ Oh. Hey. ❞ His shoulders drop a little. A pause; he works his jaw for a second before he visibly sucks in a breath and says, ❝ Hey, um... do you – know how to, uh. How to, like, get up from here? ‘Cause, I kinda... got. Turned around, I guess. ❞
@teleutes, this place is kind of creepy. / ♥
THE Underside is not for the faint of heart. That’s something she learned fairly quickly; one night there would acquaint you with more criminal and monster activity than the first third of the Rukongai’s districts. But even in her weakened state, she was no mere human— and as a Soul Reaper, the rumors of a Grim Reaper haunting the area in the dead of night… it was too intriguing to pass up. So she lingers. She keeps to herself, and as even the most tough-looking ‘businessmen’ begin to gradually disperse, she continues dispatching whatever creatures may come to bother her. This wooden sword was an obvious downgrade — maybe a punishment of some kind... but any weapon was effective with the right amount of force, even her own body.
As deep evening gave way to the midnight hours, company of the human variety was all but nonexistent. That’s why the woman’s appearance felt so sudden, enough to give Rukia’s body a start. Normally she’s fairly good at sensing the presence of living things, human or otherwise... perhaps this island was once again to blame; but the figure strolling amid the dark was almost seamless in her fluidity. Unbothered, even. Shaking off her surprise, she offers advice once the woman draws close enough. ❛ I wouldn’t loiter around here. It’s been said a Grim Reaper lurks in the late hours. ❜

14. someone whose choices have drastically impacted their life
Talk about! ( Accepting every Friday )
"Changed my life? The only person that changed my ways is the old man Yamamoto. He offered me a position to his Gotei 13 and accepted it." He was the reason why she stopped killing people and doing what is right for the future of Soul Society.
"He may be very old but he is wise himself."

“ Pretty sure I’ve seen a horror movie like this once.” actually, she’s seen at least several. the haunted cabin in the woods was a popular setting for many a horror movie and 9 times out of 10, they usually ended in some sort of massacre. or everyone fleeing into the woods to never be found again. the fact that this cabin is in the Mistwood just meant both were twice as likely to happen but such didn’t deter Musashi much. this was something meant for fun so certainly any possible ghosts weren’t out for blood. or to steal a soul. or use either of them as a vessel.
okay, she’s like 80% sure of that.
regardless of any reservations, there’s no hesitation in her careful steps through the derelict cabin, flashlight held firmly within her hand as she shone it around the empty and dark building. despite the general appearance, there was some sort of....chaos to the way everything was placed. feet come to a halt before a small dresser underneath a mounted mirror, hand reaching out to wipe away the dust from a family portrait. “ I bet one of the people in this picture is the one who is hau--” but before Musashi can finish her sentence, there is a loud bang and clatter behind her and her companion. the Servant tenses, spinning on her heel, hand instinctively moving towards her sword strapped to her hip. (yes she still carried it even like this.) but as she shines the flashlight around, there is nobody behind them. nothing except for a rusted candlestick that slowly rolled towards the center of the room.
she pauses. a very, very long sort of pause and then she whispers. “ Did you knock that over by any chance...?”

12. someone who taught them a valuable lesson
“Maybe... Tama? I don’t know if I tell her often enough how much I do appreciate her... and she certainly taught me a lesson in patience.” He gave a dry laugh, but there was a warm smile on his face. “She’s always there to motivate me when I’m feeling down. She reminds me to not give up, no matter what- work would’ve been a lot harder without her. With her, I was able to keep going... it was like having my other half back again.”
*: ・゚✧ 90 LOADED QUESTIONS / INTERVIEW THE MUSE. (ACCEPTING)
@teleutes sent: 76. How do you entertain yourself when you’re not around people?
“ Mm. Pretty ordinary stuff? I draw a lot, work, watch stuff, listen stuff, use computer... “
“ ...plus also like... stuff I probably shouldn’t air out ehehe. Still pretty ordinary though. “
