So headcannon is, Jean and Lucien slept together before the wedding. And then at the wedding she tells him she’s pregnant, while they’re dancing.

So bear with.

This is Jean. Smiling. Looking down at what is hiding beneath her dress. Knowing what she is about the tell him will absolutely blow his mind.

This is Jean telling Lucien. The eyes of intensity.

This is Lucien after she tells him. He looks down expecting to see a bump and just grins like an idiot and kisses her in response. And her face isn’t sure how he will respond but after the kiss she looks down and smiles

I mean, all the upper body camera framing was completely setting it up.

Was 100% convinced the camera would pan down here, to her holding her pregnant belly. Leaving us with that as the last scene of the series.

I know this didn’t happen, and I’m not particularly convinced Jean and Lucien could/should have a child (then again I wasn’t overly into Malice until I started to read fics) but I was completely convinced this was what was going on 😊
