Who holds the umbrella when it rains: It depends. Garnet usually forgets to grab it before he walks out of the house so since the umbrella is already in Teddy’s hand he’ll hold it but sometimes Garnet will be in a good mood or feel romantic and he’ll volunteer. Sometimes he holds it just so he can purposely get Teddy wet.

Who is the grumpiest in the morning: Garnet by far. He’s grumpy all the time but especially in the morning. He isn’t a morning person at all and has threatened Teddy many times to bodily harm him when awoken too early.

Who worries more when the other is sick or hurt: I feel like Teddy does just cause Garent is so chilled out about everything. Like if Teddy’s fucked up chances are Garnet either knows how to already treat it or he’ll google it. He’s very good at being level headed it tight spots.

Who plays pranks on the other: Garnet probably started it and Teddy wasn’t just going to let him get away with it so he pranked back and they’ve just been engaged in a bitter feud to outdo each other since lol

Who insists on creating nicknames for each other: Well Garnet started it by calling Teddy “doc.” I think he likes calling Teddy little nicknames because it symbolizes familiarity and comfort. 

Who drools on the other when they’re asleep: Depends on who’s had the longer and harder day lol Garnet is a super deep sleeper so he definitely does the thing sometimes lol

“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” Garnet breathes, squeezing Teddy’s hand tighter in his. “God, I wish we could just teleport someone else for a while till this fucking storm passed, fuck!” He shouted over thunder clapping once more above. In front of them the TV was blaring, another failed attempt to distract Garnet from the currently triggering weather conditions.

“Fuck,” he mutters again and for a second Teddy thinks he sees actual tears forming in the older man’s eyes. “Come here,” Garnet’s command comes out quieter than he had intended. He tugs on Teddy’s hand so he can pull the younger man onto his lap to straddle him. Garnet then buries his nose into Teddy’s neck and breathes. He inhales the familiarity and focuses on the gentle arms around his neck.
