✷ what is the origin of your blog name?
Cherished Teddies are these little ceramic bear collectibles. I always found them so cute. My name is Teddie and one of my dreams in life is to be loved! Cherished, if you will. So, yeah. Who here will Cherish Teddie?
✷ what's your "I will always order this" food?
I have chicken nuggets and fries autism, so you better believe any new place I enter I am trying their fries, cheese fries, tenders, strips whatever to see if they know what they are doing or just coasting for the sake of the children and picky eaters alike.
✷ what's your overused emoji?
Lately it's been the dizzy emoji 😵 because it perfectly encapsulates how it feels to be so taken over and feel briefly light headed and spinny.
✷ current comfort show/ Movie?
Moomin (1990s series) I am currently watching it with my beloved Lennie and it's been soooo much fun. This series is soooooo funny, has amazing art and I love their little community. I wish I could live among friends and (chosen) family like that someday.

✷ what's the last thing you hyperfixated on?
Altered Boy. Like...I haven't talked much about it publicly but I am still in small ways going wild over this fic. Truly, sorry I am taking so long with it, but taking my time with it is kind of part of the process. I work on it when creative peak is High and otherwise let myself do and enjoy other things.
✷ what's an oddly specific thing that brings you joy?
Making detailed lists. I created myself a database on Notion to keep track of my art supplies. Stuff like color pencils and copic markers. It was so I didn't snag duplicates when I was out shopping. It has turned into some massive interactive catalogue. Every once in a while, I think of a new stat to track on the list.
For my watercolors, I have them sorted by brand, tube size and pigment information. I am thinking about adding color groupings. That could be fun information to store in there!!!!!!
For my fountain pens, I have them stored with their brands, model, nib size, if they are inked or empty, and I thinking of adding a date from when I last changed their ink or emptied them out and when they were last cleaned!
✷ what smell instantly makes you happy?
Fantasy by Britney Spears perfume because it makes me think of Satoru. I head canon him to have it as his signature fragrance.
✷ what's something you loved as a kid that you secretly love now?
Talking to myself, if I am being so honest. Sometime along the way I was made to feel embarrassed about it. I used to be able to have really intricate and complex three-way conversations with myself.
I still do it now, but not nearly as much as I used to. I SHOULD DO IT MORE!!!!!!!!! Talk to yourself it's cool.
✷ what’s your phone wallpaper right now?
Every screen I look at right now is wallpapered with the STUNNING art of Suguru by the incredibly @somewhereonneptune
Samurai Suguru is who I have up right now.
✷ are you a morning person, night owl, or something else entirely?
Morning person, woefully, unfortunately. I grew up on a farm as a child and I would always be up before the roosters. Wide awake by the time they started crowing.
Briefly after graduating high school and all through uni, my sleep schedule was reversed. I would be up at night and sleep during the day, It was cool and I miss it soo much, but because of work I have reverted back to a morning person.
Typically, I wake up at like 3-4am just naturally. Sleeping in to me is like opening my eyes at 7am haha.
