Do you think Teddy tried to stay strong infront of the video journaling machine for evbo?
Do you think as soon as he turned it off he started tearing up a little knowing he’d never be able to say goodbye in person, let alone ever see evbos face again?
Do you think he might’ve heard evbo banging on the door and sobbed as he put his shield up on the display?

i wrote this little drabble thing for my zombie au and i don't want it to rot in my notion any longer so i'm putting it here. maybe i'll make it an actual full thing idk.
just some brief context: evbo's a sentient zombie with amnesia and raymond is his ever suffering boyfriend. enjoy : D
Evbo’s waist twitches underneath Raymond’s fingers. His skin is an uncomfortable type of warm. The kind that frozen meat gets when sitting for too long. Evbo’s skin isn’t as soft as it used to be. It doesn’t mold nicely under Raymond’s hold, doesn’t have as much give.
He wants to hate it. Hates that he’s relieved by it. Evbo used to bruise so easily, pretty porcelain skinned marred by the simplest of things. He can’t bruise now. Not when he’s like this.
“Ray?” Evbo’s voice is soft. It takes a second for Raymond to register it, shaking his head to get rid of the fog. One of Evbo’s hands rest on his. “Everything okay?”
“Yeah,” he mutters. He puts his head in the crook of Evbo’s neck. His hands move to wrap his arms around Evbo, pressing him closer to his body. “Just let me have this for a second.”
Evbo, mercifully, is quiet for a moment. There’s no hum of electricity in the room, just the quiet crackle of the candles they’ve lit. Cicadas sound loudly outside. In the distance, a few owls are hooting.
For just a moment, Raymond lets himself pretend. He pretends he’s some years in the future, in a nice quiet neighborhood in a nice quiet town. Evbo and him are waiting for Tabi to come home, another late night just to make sure she made it back safe. They’d hear the door open, and Evbo would leave his arms to go greet her. Raymond would stay behind to get their bed ready, because despite their best efforts it always ended up a mess.
For just a moment he can pretend he’s going to go bed tonight with his partners. That he’s going to go bed with a full stomach. That he’s going to go to bed happy, that he’s going to go to bed safe.
It’s just for a moment, and then Evbo drags him out.
“You…” He pauses. His hands hover awkwardly in the air, eventually settling onto the windowsill. “Do you miss him again?”
Him. As if he’s someone completely different. As if Raymond can’t see all the ways that he’s still the same, that he never changed. As if he hasn’t spent days, weeks, months telling Evbo that he’s still the man he loved, that he’s still the man he loves.
As if the person Evbo watches in those recordings (over and over and over) isn’t a reflection.
And maybe, Raymond thinks, it isn’t.
“Not right now.”
Evbo takes a breath. Big, whole, terribly dry. It stays there, far longer than it should be. Raymond squeezes slightly, and it comes whistling out. It fizzles out with a hiss, and suddenly Evbo is much more limp in his arms than before.
“Jesus-!”
It’s muscle memory that keeps him from dropping him. Raymond drags him over to the bed. His lower half is hanging off, and it’d be uncomfortable for anyone that was still human. “Dude, seriously? What was that?”
Evbo hums. He stays there. Silent, still, like he’s suddenly lost all the energy to do anything. Raymond wants to stay annoyed, wants to hold onto it, but he can’t. He’s never been able to.
He sighs, pulling Evbo onto the bed properly. He lays down next to him, pulling him closer. It’s like dealing with a rag doll: Evbo’s entirely dead weight as he maneuvers him into a more comfortable position. They’re chest to back, Raymond curled up slightly around him.
The silence that follows is suffocating, but not quite. Evbo’s not breathing, completely lax. There’s no indication that he’s awake. If he isn’t, Raymond wants him to rest. But someone has to make sure he doesn’t go off the deep end.
He ends up nuzzling the back of Evbo’s head, the ever present sweetness of death filling his nose. Evbo moves it back, grumbling too low for Raymond to make anything out. Good. He’s responding.
“I’m glad you’re here.”
He feels Evbo stiffen. Raymond closes his eyes, tightens his hold just slightly. Maybe it’s not the right thing to say. Maybe there’s different words he could’ve used, different actions he could’ve taken.
But it’s pointless to wonder about the possibilities.
“Me too.”
For a moment, Raymond thinks he’s hearing things. “Mh?”
Evbo gets impossibly lax. Raymond’s arms sink into his flesh, almost liquid-like in their consistency. “…I’m glad you’re here, too.”
ted humiliating and degrading tubbo on call real and true
Honestly. I love Ted being mean and I love people being mean to Tubbo. They'd work so well together, sometimes Tubbo even pushes Ted just to make sure he gets meaner and rougher with him
We know the guys decently durable and knows how to pack a punch and the best ways to put all your force into stabbing into things.
We know he also got hurt on the way down and was genuinely running off adrenaline and adrenaline on the way there.
Do you think he ran so fast and thoughtlessly he ran into walls? Do you think he rammed himself against the door repeatedly, hard enough to hurt himself further but not care at all because fuck his friend is doing something stupid for him and he needs to stop him? Bruises coating his arm and shoulder from how he’d try to break the door, sparks flying as his sword scrapes against the heavy door, durability slowly ticking down with each attempt to force his way to his best friend?
Maybe managing to cause actual dents, causing actual scrapes against the metal and maybe having nearly cut through just the tiniest amount of the door, sword dulling as he screams and sobs so harshly and desperately his voice goes raspy and hoarse?
No one will bother to fix the door with evbos pain, grief, and loss carved into it. No one will think too hardly of why the door is so scuffed up compared to all the others. Only he and tabi know the cause and they do not speak of it. They can’t. Not without cold unfocused gazes and voices dropping into whispers.

Evbo never truly escapes the torture cube with this ending.
He has room to walk and cower and dodge now, but in a way, he’s never escaped. He just fell right back into another spot of torture for the rest of eternity- but now hes feeding millions of people instead of thousands. And that will take so, so much longer.
He’s doomed. He will never be able to save everyone no matter how long they or he waits to be farmed.
And we see zam get revived. The one who debatably tortures evbo the most. And tabi cannot do anything but watch
She was guards- teddys, role now in all of this. To watch as evbo cannot defend himself and live the way he should. To be tortured and killed over and over again.
Also. Evbo didn’t listen to Teddys message all the way. He ran immediately to go find him. He got hurt on the way. Badly enough to nearly die, even. Teddy might have heard him banging and screaming against the door too.
Clown also lied to everyone. Evbo- that violence would no longer be the answer and that things would be peaceful. That Teddy would be okay. Tabi- that the axes would be okay and she’d be back with them as family.
Who knows what he fully told Teddy. But he convinced evbo he’d be okay knowing he was the one that needed to die.
Clown could have wished for them to not have to live off PvP attacks
But he didn’t. We don’t know what he wished for. Not truly.
He set up tabi and evbo for a loop of watching each other suffer for an eternity that can no longer end. Teddy may have died in vain accidentally putting Evbo back in the very loop that he promised to take Evbo out of.
Thinking about Guardbo. I’ve yet to watch parkour civilization so some of this is just guessing/inferencing copium from the pvparkour crossover episode
I was specifically thinking about the daily check in’s for food, and them likely knocking on the doors before calling out for attention. Evbo would be so used to Teddy being the one to greet him thousands upon thousands of times. He’d forget momentarily that he’s gone. Sacrificed himself purely for Evbo.
He’d be so excited to see his friend again. To tell him what’s happened. That they did do something. Maybe not the best solution, but they did it.
And then he’d open the door and see someone else. And he’d remember that Teddys gone.
Teddy died for him. Because he had faith in him.
And he’d grieve all over again. But this time there is no familiarity. He can no longer visit where his friend last stood. No longer see the halls they’ve walked together and mapped out to the point of completion.
It hurts to watch the journal entry he was given. But he wants to see his friend again.
Maybe he’d get homesick for Teddy. Even if this is a safer place in comparison. He and Teddy would have laughed so hard watching each other fail the parkour. Maybe Teddy would’ve been impressed with him.
But all Evbo can do now is sit and wonder. How would his friend have been like now?
Can we all talk about how Teddys only ever thought of evbo, even from the moment he debuted (and admitted it himself)
Cause like he was being sarcastic a bit of course, but he still thought of him
And when it came to his final moments, instead of being scared for himself, he thought of evbo and found a way to say goodbye to him. He was worried of what Evbo was to think of him. And only wanted Evbo to be the one to remember him as himself
He wasn’t even all that upset that evbo had to leave when he was being farmed too, though maybe he knew Evbo assumed he could trust tabi enough to get him out of that box. Unfortunately for all of them, it was clown.
I’m thinking a lot about them still. Especially what they’d regret. Evbo would wish he knew more about Teddy. Teddy, if he were to realize it, would regret making this wish come true for how much it’d hurt Evbo.
I think clown lied to Teddy too, even if we didn’t see it. I think Teddy was told evbo wouldn’t be getting hurt at all- or if he did it’d be brief. When that’s not the case at all.
Whatever Teddy and evbo had between them was far more intimate and trusting than any other dynamic in the series. I choose to believe Teddy has a way of coming back and is working on finding Evbo again. I can’t cope otherwise
Anyways this is them after escaping pvp civilization together after Teddy came back to life and now they r happy and healthy together
