The waves will keep crashing like they always do But forever without you is a different shade of blue.
I always did find comfort in weakness, and you are both in one.
Bro, this mf is growing on me. For sure I'm not one to be infatuated and stuff, bro doesn't even believe in romance anymore but fuck youuuu, she's slowly creeping in. Yep, I'm not in love. Too early for that shit but yes, she's a really lovely person, and our interests and humor are in sync, welp, hers can even get darker than mine, but when I'm like ultra intelligent at times, she'll always have a clapback. And we're not even talking romantically but she's unexpectedly unexplainable, unfathomable. Mf we keep on insulting each other but it's always the funny banter stuff, like she can never insult me and she's always just laughing when I treat her like shit!!! Not like how your ex did, but like when siblings or close friends roast each other. Yep.
I know full well that this isn't romantic at all, and I'm not even hoping or anything. Talking to her just makes me feel really good that I'm alive, and I hope I can at least make her laugh (I mean I know I do) when we talk. Just that, it really feels good to know that I have someone I can talk to w/o being weird, w my humor being valid, w my interests never being looked down upon. Sure is a w for me.
Still not enough for me to stop wanting to unalive myself thoooo 😭 but thank you

"My thrall (Eun) told me she wanted to be more independent so I imprisoned her soul in a necklace. How's that for in de pendant you little shit"
-Ara Haan
"What’s your favorite coffee drink?" Eun asks, head leaned against his hand. His attention turns fully to Nunnally; his expression doesn't give much away, but there's a soft dusting of pink on his cheeks, barely noticeable. "I’m asking... so I know what to get you when we go on our first date."
It’s a bit of a surprising question. Her attention snaps to him immediately. Perhaps her expression, just like his, doesn’t give much away, but her eyes open just a little wider than usual, and that’s enough to betray her. Nunnally definitely hadn’t expected that. And while, in theory, it should be an easy question – after all, she knows how she likes her coffee – her mind goes completely blank.
“I usually take it black. No sugar…” – she says, a beat too carefully, almost adding that the quality of the beans is what really matters, but of course, he knows that. Eun wouldn’t even look at anything cheap – “I like mild, earthy flavours…” – she adds, trailing off, still clearly trying to catch up with her own thoughts…
…until the explanation comes.
That only makes things more awkward for her. Her cheeks warm instantly, now lightly dusted with pink. She hadn’t really considered that Eun would go as far as inviting her out on a date. They were friends. She liked him. Obviously! But dating him? That had never quite made it into her thoughts. And it had definitely never crossed her mind that he might be interested in her like that. And yet… Now that the idea is there, sitting between them, she finds that she… likes it. A lot, actually. Why not? They get along so well. Almost too well.
“I’d like to…” – Nunnally says quickly, as if worried the moment might slip away if she doesn’t grab it. She pauses, then nods once, more to herself than to him. Yes!; she really does like it.
She should have thought of this earlier. Maybe even asked him out herself. A little awkwardly, she mirrors his posture (sort of), leaning her chin into her hand, though she’s not quite as smooth about it.
“So…” – she starts, then clears her throat softly – “Where would we go, then?” – that feels much safer than asking when.
