One of the rare times I colored digitally (the lineart instead is traditional)! So I took the opportunity to be undecided about the background color. I also have a couple more versions that I will avoid posting π€£
I would have also liked to add Shinjiro as the Caterpillar and Sumire as Queen of Hearts but I didn't have enough time and...and it was one of the most challenging drawings ever already like this (shippy art is very difficult π« π« π« π¦π¦π¦)!
Shuake, Banake and Tedake (does this ship have a official nameπ€?) are among my favorite Akechi ships, it was nice to have an opportunity to draw them together like thisπ₯°
I put a lot of effort into the details of each costume and makeup ΰ²₯β βΏβ ΰ²₯
I wanted to include characteristic elements of the character mixed with the classic costume of the role they embodied (the midnight channel pattern on the waistcoat and inside of Yu's jacket probably gets a bit lost in everything elseπ€)
The makeup that recalls Joker's mask^^
Teddie and Akechi have the most similar costumes to outfits already worn in canon so I opted to highlight the Loki and the houndstooth pattern β¨
