Ted always looked forward to races, finally able to spend some time with his notebook. With his fingers caressing the pages, pen dancing along its paper, he was grateful for the time they had alone together. The notebook knew the most intimate and private of his secrets, guarding details he'd never be able to tell another person. He would share his innermost thoughts with the notebook, expecting nothing back except a lack of judgement, the feeling of freedom. But now the camera was back on him and it was time to pretend once again.
